Frequently Asked Questions

Meals/Times:    8:00 am Breakfast  12:30 pm Lunch   6:00 pm Supper

All meals are buffet and include: Two main entrées, two sides, bread, deluxe salad bar (lunch and supper), and dessert.  [Vegetarian entrée options are available and must be requested by leadership in advance.]

Buffet lines are available for 45 minutes during each meal period.
Groups will have the same reserved seating at every scheduled meal.
Due to shared dining rooms, all announcements and prayers should be done in your assigned meeting space.
Blue Ridge Assembly offers a variety of snack options for an additional fee.
Blue Ridge Assembly does not allow catering from outside vendors.
Wristbands or colored dots for name badges are distributed to leadership upon arrival and are required to enter the dining room.

Early arrivals or late departures must be approved by your meeting planner prior to your arrival. There will be an additional fee for groups checking in before noon or checking out after noon.
All rooms, cabins, and cottages are equipped with soap, towels, sheets, blankets, and pillows unless otherwise arranged by your group leader.
Blue Ridge Center and Asheville Hall have telephones in each room while all other buildings contain house phones.   Cell phone reception is good throughout the property.
Wireless internet access is available in the Blue Ridge Center and surrounding area.
Rollaway beds an/or kiddie cots are available at a $10 flat rate rental fee and can be accommodated in most rooms.
 

Meeting Space

Your group will be allotted one general meeting space.  Three weeks prior to group's arrival you will be notified of assigned room.  Breakout spaces will be assigned according to availability.
Your meeting planner will need to request all audio-visual, table and chair needs for your meeting space three weeks prior to your arrival.
For no additional charge, we will provide you with: Registration tables, chairs in your meeting space, 2 tables in your meeting space, a podium and microphone.
The following items are available for most meeting spaces:
Audio-Visual: overhead, screen, and slide projectors; TV/VCR/DVD/CD/tape players;  sound systems with compact disc, cassette, and multi-microphone capability; lavaliere and handheld microphones
Portable sound systems are available for an additional $100 fee.
An LCD projector is available for an additional $50 fee.
Set up with tables and chairs is available for an additional $100 fee. Table sizes include: 8 or 6-foot tables, 6 foot round tables, or 8 foot half tables
Other: podiums, flipcharts and markers; audio-visual carts, easels, and music stands are all available at no charge.
Nails, pins, and duct tape are prohibited.  Upon request, masking tape can be made available at no charge.
Outdoor sign holders may be signed out at the front desk for no charge.
 

Recreation

Blue Ridge Assembly offers the following at no charge:
     Hiking trails
     Disc Golf
     Indoor/Outdoor volleyball and basketball courts
     Lighted Tennis Courts
     Swimming Pool (summer months only)
     Horseshoe pits
     Shuffleboard Court
     Playground
     Exercise Room (adults only: ages 18 and up)
 

For an additional fee you can enjoy *

Campfires available at either our amphitheater or one of two lake sites for a $50 fee.
Craft room
Children's Programs
Adventure education; including team building, ropes courses, climbing walls, and more.

Deposits/Billing
Deposits are fully refundable when notice of cancellation is given more than 90 days prior to arrival.
For lodge or cabin bookings, the deposit is equal to one night's stay.
For room bookings, the deposit will be $50 per reserved room.
All new groups may apply to be direct billed for the balance after the event by filling out a credit application/reference form.
If a group has no credit or references, full payment will be due upon arrival.
 

General Policies

Tobacco use is not permitted anywhere on Assembly property.
Pets are not permitted.
No candles, alcohol, decorative lighting, helium balloons, glitter, or confetti is permitted in any building.
Bikes, inline skates, and skateboards are prohibited.
